Pom Eaton
Who's In Charge?
at Spectrum, 7 Endymion Road, London, N4 1EE (www.spectrumtherapy.co.uk)
Many of us have learnt to adapt to the needs and demands of others in order to fit in, gain approval and find a place to belong. This can lead us to feeling that we are not really in charge of our own lives. We feel diminished, dissatisfied and unhappy with ourselves. It is as though we have forgotten how to respond to ourselves and forgotten how to hold a sense of authority and entitlement about the choices we make.
An ongoing group can be a great place to forge trusting relationships with others and develop your sense of self. With support and feedback from the group you can explore and challenge the habitual patterns that hold you back, reawaken your capacity for self management and take risks to grow a more satisfying life.
This is a new group for women, starting in September 2010, which will run monthly on Saturdays from 10am until 4pm. There will be three meetings per term. Minimum commitment of two terms.
Cost: £200 per term
Dates: September 11th, October 9th and November 13th 2010
Pom Eaton completed a training in group work and counselling in 1995 and has facilitated workshops and groups since this time. Pom has been in personal and professional development at Spectrum since 1999 and runs a private psychotherapy practice there and at Spiral. She is a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
If you are interested in joining this group, please contact Pom on 07794 754871 or via email at pomtherapy@aol.com

Celebrating Woman - Shamanic Medicine Workshops
in East Sussex and elsewhere
offers spaces for women to come together and work with the wisdom of the Earth and the magic of the circle. Workshops include Sweat Lodge Ceremony in the Spring and Autumn, Shamanic Retreat in Summer, also Trance States, and introduction and exploration of the Shamanic Journey
Woman Wild and Still
Five meetings - June to Sep 2010 - Residential East Sussex
The Journey
The journey of woman from girl-child to wise-woman has been one of the most challenging a being can take over the last few thousand years. This course is about honoring the power (life force) and unique Medicine within each woman and helping to reclaim the power that has been lost or forgotten. The Journey we take will be a journey of Soul Retrieval, of Recapitulation, of Dreaming, of Celebration and of deep connection to the Earth through a Burial. Through the course of our lives, through trauma, social expectations and mythologies we form our energy into habits and patterns and give away our power – the downside. The upside is that through the challenges and with the help of allies i.e. people, situations and our connection to nature, we learn about our strengths. We will take an ancient road of teachings and initiation, working with the earth and the elements, your own strength, ritual and ceremony to awaken your own depth of stillness and wild nature, your true nature
